Great Grey Owl

It is interesting and one of the most enjoyable things for me to try to stylize animals. In this case I had to represent a very specific species of owl: the Great Gray Owl, characterized by its intense gaze.

The geometry of this pipe has been studied through the creation of a clay sketch. I thought a square section mouthpiece could match well. Briar pipe, with gray methacrylate mouthpiece.
