Locomotive Pipe

This pipe is inspired by an illustration from “Il libro delle Pipe” (The book of Pipes) by the famous italian novelist Dino Buzzati, and Eppe Ramazzotti” (first edition: 1945).

The dreamy and surreal character of the stories and illustrations (all made by the authors) in this book is a source of inspiration that leads me to the desire to bring the fantastic pipes of those pages to life.

My interpretation of this Locomotive pipe, about 17 cm long, is in briar, and the greatest difficulty, as usual, is to work in tight spaces, such as the areas under the wagons
